The Rabbi recently visited Crookfur Primary School to do a workshop on Judaism.
The Rabbi commented “It was refreshing to see children so genuinely interested."
"I spent the first half answering a wide range of questions from the kids. At the end I taught a Chassidic song without words (Niggun) which they found fascinating and we all came out of school singing on top of our lungs!".
"The school have asked me to do a number of sessions throughout the school in the coming months which I have agreed to.”

 Dr Efraim Zuroff of the Simon Wiesental Centre kept the audience spellbound last Sunday, as he related the intricate details of his latest project, ‘Operation Last Chance’. 
In a fluent and impassioned talk, Dr Zuroff showed us how it is never too late to bring those responsible for the horrors of the Holocaust to justice.
Furthermore, this sets an important precedent for today’s potential war criminals that justice has no borders of time and space.
Over 100 attended the talk which was followed by a question and answer session with the audience and refreshments.

The 'New Look' Children's Service is back ! |

 Rabbi Danny has always expressed a desire to involve the 'next generation' in shul activities wherever possible and a series of bi-weekly 'pizza and discussion' evenings have already been held, click here to see pictures.
As part of the next step, the Rabbi has now planned a series of Children's Services to be run by teenagers within the congregation under his supervision. The services will be for children of School age up to Pre-Bar/Bat Mitzvah age.

All congregants are encouraged to make every effort to bring children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren to help make these events a success and enjoy a fabulous programme. |

Kids-Aleinu Recruitment for Induction Ceremony |

 Aleinu Recruitment!
Rabbi Danny is looking for as many children (both boys and girls) under Bar and Bat Mitzva to join him on the Bimah at the induction ceremony to chant "Aleinu" in our traditional ‘NMHC chant’.
Please contact the Rabbi as soon as possible so he can arrange a rehearsal date.
This will be a unique occasion for our children to lead in front of the Chief Rabbi Lord Sacks. |

Shul Service - Hebrew Reading Course |

Rabbi Danny will be running a series of courses in Hebrew Reading to assist congregants to feel confident in being able to follow the shul service more easily.
