Dear Congregants I am honoured to have been appointed as your spiritual leader in this interim period. I look forward to renewing my contacts with my young-old friends and getting to know the rest of the congregation. Please do not hesitate to contact me, or my wife Rosalie, if we can be of assistance in any shul matter. My distant memory of NMHC is that the shul always had a Minchah service on Shabbat. A number of members have shown interest in its reinstatement. I believe, therefore, it could be rewarding for us to reintroduce it. It was proposed for 6 pm during the summer, and the wintertime would be according to Shabbat’s exit. A shul’s strength is also measured by the number of services it holds.
