| Fire Alarm Evacuation |
|
Dear Congregant, During services last Shabbat, we had a fire alarm activation - full audible bells. Although this turned out to be a false alarm, this incident has thrown up a few issues regarding the evacuation of the Shul building. If the fire alarm should sound, you must immediately exit the building via the nearest fire exit which will be clearly marked. Do not take any belongings with you and do not stop at the cloakrooms for coats. Congregants should make their way as quickly as possible to the muster point at the apple garden at the side of the building (muster point marked on the outside wall) where you should remain and await further instruction. Under no circumstance are you permitted to re-enter the building until instruction is given that it is safe to do so. If you are unsure or have any query regarding the above policy of evacuation, please contact Gary Winston on 07976327079. |
